The prestigious jury of the Bank of Åland have chosen the Nutribute platform developed by the John Nurminen Foundation as the best digital Baltic Sea innovation of 2018. In addition, Nutribute came third in the public vote. The nomination was published yesterday at Vene 18 Båt exhibition at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
Nutribute introduces – for the first time – the principle of crowdfunding into Baltic Sea protection. It transforms Baltic Sea protection ideas into concrete action and encourages citizens to participate in the reduction of nutrient loading.
