On April 6th, Finnish company Kesko launched a new product, Pirkka Saaristolaiskalapihvi, a fish steak that is made of bream. The fish used for the product is caught from the Archipelago Sea by the fishermen fishing for NutriTrade Pilot Fish. The product is the first commercial product in Finland made of bream and preparatory work from idea to completed product has been developed in cooperation between Kesko and John Nurminen Foundation. The logo of Clean Baltic Sea projects is used to certify the sustainable production of the fish steaks. We hope success for the product, and wish that several other products will follow!
