In March, 10 fishermen were contracted to fish bream and roach in the Archipelago Sea and neighboring sea areas. Altogether 12 applications from fishermen were submitted to John Nurminen Foundation within the application period, by 10 February 2017. The season will start as soon as the sea will be free of ice, in other words, within a week. First will roaches come near the shore to spawn and later in the spring as water gets warmer, it’s the time for the breams to follow.
