NutriTrade was present at SuomiAreena (Pori) on July 13th. At the stage, Minister Soini discussed Baltic Sea issues with Tuula Putkinen (John Nurminen Foundation) and enjoyed a fish burger with chef Jaakko Manelius and fisherman Hannu Lahtonen. At the Baltic Sea tent, hundreds of citizens tasted bream and roach delicacies offered by Pilot Fish and were informed of NutriTrade activities. Apart from Minister Soini, prominent visitors included e.g. Minister Berner and Erja Tikka, Ambassador for Baltic Sea Issues, MFA, Finland.
With targeted fishing of cyprinid fish, Pilot Fish aims at recycling a significant amount of nutrients from the marine ecosystem to solid ground and at increasing the utilization of cyprinid fish in human consumption.
